Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of TengaNow, a WhatsApp shopping concierge and supplier marketplace operated by Raydian Technologies (Private) Business Corporation (registration number PBC 582/2022, incorporated in the republic of zimbabwe), 9 Rydal Way, Braeside, Harare, Zimbabwe ("TengaNow", "we", "us"). By messaging TengaNow or placing a request, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What TengaNow does
TengaNow is a marketplace coordination service. We receive your request on WhatsApp, find verified suppliers in and around Harare who can meet it, and arrange price, payment and delivery or collection. Unless we say otherwise for a specific order, the goods or services are sold and supplied by the participating supplier, and TengaNow coordinates the order on your behalf.
2. Requests, stock and price confirmation
- Sending a request and receiving a reference number (for example TN-1001) does not create a binding order. It means we have started checking.
- Before you pay, we send a confirmed price, stock check and delivery quote. An order is only confirmed once you accept that quote and your payment is verified.
- Prices, availability and delivery times can change until the quote is accepted. If a supplier cannot fulfil part of a confirmed order, we will offer a substitute, a partial order, or a refund for the missing items.
3. Payment verification
- We accept the payment methods listed in your quote, which may include cash on delivery, mobile money, bank transfer or card.
- Only pay to the account details sent from the official TengaNow WhatsApp number +263 782 492 797 or confirmed by raydiantechnologies45@gmail.com. We will never ask you to pay a personal account that is not named in your quote.
- We release an order to the supplier or courier once payment is verified. Proof of payment alone may not be enough until funds are received.
4. Delivery and collection in Harare
- We deliver within Harare and nearby areas listed in your quote. Delivery fees and estimated times are included in the quote.
- Please give an accurate address and a reachable phone number, and make sure someone can receive the order. Failed deliveries caused by wrong details or no one being available may carry a redelivery fee.
- If you choose collection, bring your reference number to the supplier named in your quote within the agreed collection time.
- Check your goods when you receive them and tell us about any damaged, missing or wrong items within 24 hours.
5. Supplier responsibilities
Suppliers who partner with TengaNow agree to:
- Give accurate stock levels, prices and descriptions, and honour quotes they confirm.
- Supply goods that are genuine, safe, legal, of good quality, and, for food, fresh and handled hygienically.
- Hold any licences and registrations their business needs, and comply with Zimbabwean consumer protection, health and tax laws.
- Prepare orders on time and treat customer information as confidential, using it only to fulfil TengaNow orders.
We may suspend or remove a supplier who breaks these terms or receives repeated valid complaints.
6. Returns and refunds
- If an item is damaged, defective, wrong or missing, tell us within 24 hours of delivery with your reference number and a photo where possible. We will arrange a replacement, a credit, or a refund to your original payment method.
- Fresh food, meat, dairy, custom orders, printed documents and services already performed cannot be returned unless they were faulty or not as described.
- Other unused items in their original packaging may be returned within 7 days, subject to the supplier's return policy stated in your quote. Return delivery costs may apply.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days of approval.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:44] of Zimbabwe.
7. Acceptable use of the WhatsApp concierge
When using TengaNow you agree not to:
- Request illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or restricted goods or services.
- Send abusive, threatening, fraudulent or spam messages, or impersonate another person or business.
- Send files that contain malware or content you do not have the right to share.
- Place fake orders or misuse supplier or courier information.
We may decline requests or stop serving accounts that break these rules. You must also follow WhatsApp's own terms.
8. Liability
We take reasonable care in choosing suppliers and couriers and coordinating your order. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, power or network outages, or supplier shortages, but we will keep you informed and offer a refund where an order cannot be completed.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to new requests from its effective date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any dispute will first be handled through our support team, and if it cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
